How to block a card step by step
After reporting an objection, the card is permanently blocked and cannot be used again. Bank Millennium customers can carry out the entire operation themselves after logging in to the website Millenet. Just go to the “My finances” tab, then “Products” and select the “Restrict card” option.
The bank also provides a 24-hour option to block the card by phone. Customers can contact the hotline at (+48) 22 598 41 14 or (+48) 828 828 828. These numbers work both in Poland and abroad, and the consultant can block the card remotely.
A temporary ban instead of a permanent ban
Millennium also reminds you about the option of temporarily blocking the card. This solution is useful when the card has been temporarily put aside, e.g. in a cloakroom, or when the customer does not want to use it for some time. Temporary blocking is possible after logging in to Millenet or the mobile application – just select the card in the “My products” section and confirm the block with one click.
However, please remember that the time lock does not protect against the use of the card data itself. Therefore, the bank pays attention not to leave the card in plain view and to be aware of the potential consequences of losing it.
