Rafał Trzaskowski

Just over 80 percent Poles want 800 plus to be downloaded only by Ukrainians working in our country – according to the SW Research survey for “Wprost”. The idea of Rafał Trzaskowski is supported by, among others, the least earning.

A week ago, the candidate of the Civic Coalition for President Rafał Trzaskowski during a meeting with voters in Puńsk (Podlasie Voivodeship) said that “800 plus” benefits should be due to Ukrainians only if they “live in Poland and pay taxes in Poland”.

Rational policy is a policy that builds our prosperity and economic growth. I am saying today that reason should dominate. The vast majority of Ukrainians work. If they don’t work, we should withdraw from social assistance and someone must finally say – Trzaskowski explained the day later during a meeting with the inhabitants of Kętrzyn.

At the beginning of this week, Law and Justice submitted a bill, limiting the payment of 800 plus for Ukrainian families, which – as explained by the head of the PiS club Mariusz Błaszczak – “first of all they work in our country, and secondly they pay taxes in Poland.” The politician did not hide that the submission of the law was to be a kind of “checking” for the ruling coalition. The former deputy prime minister reminded that the groups forming the government were against the proposed changes.

We would like to remind you that the 800 plus benefit is entitled to each child to be 18 years old, regardless of their income. Pursuant to the Act on the help of Ukrainian citizens in connection with armed conflict in the territory of this country, the parents of Ukrainian children staying in Poland are also entitled to the parents.
