Lidl will build a block in Warsaw? We have a shop position
Lidl got building conditions for the block in Bielany – informs Gazeta Wyborcza. It turns out that in Germany the network has already rebuilt several pavilions for houses with shops.
The newspaper informs that at the end of last year the capital city hall issued building conditions for a multi -family building with an underground garage in the area of Kasprowicza, Kaliszówka and Socratesa streets. Between them today there is a one -story Lidl chain store. It was the network that applied for building conditions for the block.
Lidl will build a block in Warsaw?
The area between the said streets is not covered by the development plan and it has not even been prepared. This is why Lidl had to apply for building conditions. As there are blocks right next to it, the capital city hall could not refuse to issue a decision opening the possibility of building another block.
Deputy Mayor Bielan Włodzimierz Piątkowski took the floor in this matter.
– It is not about building a block on the site of an existing Lidl – declares a local government official. – The network has perpetual usufruct of a larger area. There is an undeveloped area next to the store. It was for him that they applied for a wuzetka for the block – he adds.
The newspaper points out that the road to the investment is somewhat complicated. The Bielany district is in a dispute with Lidl for perpetual usufruct fees for the land at ul. Kasprowicz. A few years ago, the district raised these fees. Bielańskie officials added PLN 10 million in arrears. Therefore, they do not want to give permission to change the undeveloped plot of land provided in the perpetual usufruct contract. However, this entry does not block obtaining a building permit.
Shop position
After publishing the text, we received the shop’s position.
– We would like to confirm that Lidl Polska has obtained such building conditions, but currently we are not planning to implement such an investment on the aforementioned property – we read in the message.
Lidl builds in Germany
It turns out that Lidl rebuilt several of his pavilions for houses with shops in Germany. For example, a six -story block with a shop on the ground floor was created in the fashionable Berlin Berlin District of Prenzlauer Berg, and a three -story block with 26 apartments, consisting of prefabricated elements, was created in Mahldorsf, and in Mahldorsf. These investments were a consequence of hunger for apartments in Berlin.
