Lewandowski was supposed to sign a contract with a new club. “The Great Transfer”
Fabrizio Romano revealed with which club Robert Lewandowski was supposed to sign a contract. Is that certain?
A popular journalist from Italy caused an earthquake with his entry on the X platform, published on Sunday evening. Everything indicates that Lewy will soon become part of a football club playing in Major League Soccer.
Left decided? There was news about the transfer to the USA
Romano is recognized around the world as a reliable source of information when it comes to transfers. Just look at his number of followers on Platform X, which is 28 million. The expert worked hard to earn the trust that football enthusiasts have in him today – two years ago he confirmed, among other things, the transfer of French striker Kylian Mbappé to Spanish Real Madrid.
This time, the sports journalist took on an outstanding football player from Poland. On June 28, he announced that Lewandowski would sign a contract with Chicago Fire Football Club. This would mean moving from Europe across the ocean – to the United States.
“Robert Lewandowski in Chicago Fire – IT STARTS!” – Romano began his entry in a characteristic way. “The Polish striker agreed to join Chicago Fire after visiting the city and the club’s headquarters two weeks ago. Lewandowski will sign the contract at the beginning of next week. He is ready for a new chapter in MLS,” he said. “It’s a great transfer,” he emphasized.
Robert Lewandowski was supposed to wait for offers from the Middle East
Commentators have been speculating for several weeks whether Lewy will choose the USA. Sebastian Staszewski recently spoke on this matter.
“Chicago Fire is not his first choice. If that were the case, he would simply sign the contract because he is ready. The conditions are quite good, even for the American League, because it will probably be the second or third highest contract at the moment. It is difficult to compete with Leo Messi (Argentine striker – editor’s note), but it would be a contract at the level of fifteen or twenty million gross. (…) Lewandowski, however, is still waiting for offers from the Persian Gulf region,” the journalist claimed (quote from Sports Fakty).
