Lewandowski about the release of Probier. One sentence was enough

Robert Lewandowski

Robert Lewandowski at a press conference before the match against the Netherlands did not hide his feelings after the release of Michał Probierz. At the same time, he pointed out that it is best to forget about non -listing events.

On Monday, September 1, PZPN organized a press conference with the participation of coach Jan Urban and Robert Lewandowski. The captain of the Polish national team in football returned to the squad after a break, caused by conflict with the previous coach. So from the beginning you could expect questions returning to that dispute.

Lewandowski: I did not laugh after the resignation of the Probierz

– It seems to me that each of us is aware of what it means to come to the Polish national team. I am also glad that I am here at the grouping before matches. Of course, we realize in what situation we are and what happened – especially on the pitch, because this is the most important thing. Other things just have to be closed, focus on the future and what is ahead of us. It seems to me that with good energy, a good attitude before the match against the Netherlands and Finland, with the new cards we are certainly prepared for it and more optimistic – said Lewandowski.

Then the player was asked about his reaction to Michał Probierz’s resignation and whether he smiled at the thought that he would still play in the national team.

– I certainly did not smile, because it seems to me that every change of the coach – whether in the club or in the national team – this is also someone failure and you have to clearly realize it. It seems to me that this topic has already been clarified, I also said, I have nothing to add more and now we want to focus on what is ahead of us – he answered.
