Legend will return to PlusLiga? Invaluable help has just come
Volleyballers of Black Radom left the PlusLiga ranks last season. The club was over the abyss, but after a dozen or so months, the sun shone again.
Certainly to open champagne in Radom too earlier, but more and more positive signals flow from the city’s distinguished for Polish volleyball. Two -time MP medalist (1994, 1995), winner of the Polish Cup (1999), and finally a place where many significant characters were brought up – he will fight for PlusLiga.
New hopes in Black Radom. New president and sponsor already at the club
There are several arguments for improving the situation at the club from Radom. Sporty, since the team was taken over by experienced coach Dariusz Daszkiewicz, Czarni scored a series of 12 matches without failure (!), Which is still ongoing. Looking at the balance of the basic phase of pls of the 1st League of the Radom team, i.e. 17 wins and 11 failures, it best shows in what position the team competed, and where it is now. Exactly in third place at the finish, before the play-off.
The second good news is the takeover of the helm by Wojciech Żaliński. A former very solid volleyball player who apparently intends to turn his pitch reliability into effective actions as the president of the Black. The head of the Radom club – officially since March this year – has been collecting positive reviews for the first weeks of his work.
This is not only positive comments from the fans towards President Żaliński, but also the activities of the new club manager. And this is the third good news from Radom. The club acquired a new … old titular sponsor. The Pierrot company, supporting black for many years, decided to get more involved, giving a clear signal towards support in the fight for PlusLiga in Radom. That again in a place where volleyballers as Tomasz Fornal or Norbert Huber could not play so long ago, it could be great again.
Who will win promotion to PlusLiga? It moves the play-off in the back room!
Radomians, however, are aware that it will not be easy for promotion. ChKS Chełm is a definite favorite to enter PlusLiga. The team from the eastern part of Poland in 28 matches lost only twice, in the table above the runner -up Lechia Tomaszów Mazowiecki, having as many as 20 points advantage.
Pierrot Czarni, however, will probably look for a chance to get as far as possible in the playoffs. It can also be a gate and a signal for the pls authorities that Radom is ready to fight the best in the elite again.
The road is still winding and far, but the very fact that recently some better signals from the club have been flowing – it shows that maybe soon the black will be loud again – in a positive sense.
