Legend Robbed in Paris. Lost a Lot of Money

We are dealing with another scandal in Paris. Zico, the legendary Brazilian footballer, has been robbed. The amount of losses is huge.

The official opening ceremony of the Olympic Games has not yet taken place, but there have already been several incidents in Paris. In the previous days, a player from the Argentine national football team was robbed, as reported personally by the team’s coach Javier Mascherano. The Australian cycling team was also robbed, when their bus was ransacked. On Friday morning, it was reported that there had been an attack on the TGV high-speed train network. To say that the French capital is unsettled would be an understatement.

Zico fell victim to thieves

The legendary footballer Zico also learned about the power of thieves. An unpleasant incident involving him took place on Thursday evening. The Brazilian arrived in Paris on a business trip. When he left the hotel, he immediately went to a taxi and that is where he was robbed. The whole situation was described by “Le Parisien”.

While the Brazilian was walking to the taxi, two men appeared next to it. One of them started talking to the driver, while the other opened the back door and pulled out a briefcase that belonged to Zico. The value of the things in the briefcase could literally knock you off your feet. It contained a Rolex watch, a diamond necklace, and cash. All of it is valued at half a million euros. The relevant services began searching for the perpetrators, but they were never found.

Zico a distinguished representative of Brazil

Zico has often been called the second Pele in the past. He spent almost his entire football career in his home country. He scored almost 400 goals for Flamengo and won the national championship four times with the club.

Interestingly, he never won a World Cup with Brazil. He played 71 matches for the national team, beating opponents’ goalkeepers 48 times.
