The building materials market remains stable, although the first signs of growth are already visible. Experts forecast that investments from KPO, the development of military construction and the “Clean Air” program can significantly stimulate demand, leading to prices in 2025.

Stabilization of building materials prices

The building materials market in Poland still maintains price stability. The January data indicate a balance between freight groups that have caught up and increased – ten in each category. The largest discounts concerned dry buildings, finishing materials as well as roofs and gutters (drops from 5.3 to 2.9 percent). Price increases were recorded for OSB boards, materials for building walls and chimneys as well as cement and lime (from 3.2 to 5.8 percent).

There is a revival of building materials on the market

Experts indicate that the decreasing scale of the greatest increases and drops in price and the balance between categories of cheap and more expensive building materials suggest market stabilization. The key factor that can affect increased demand for building materials is the need to use funds from the National Reconstruction Plan (KPO) on time.
