Christmas is still a long way away, but you can now plan a trip to beautiful markets in Europe at good prices. Where is worth going?

Autumn has barely started and some people are already thinking about winter. Many travel agencies have already launched attractive travel offers. And although December and Christmas seem very far away, you can already start planning a trip to Christmas fairs. There is a good reason for this. Thanks to this, you will “catch” stays at low prices. This is especially important in the case of foreign fairs.

Winter towns allow you to really feel the Christmas atmosphere and become a tourist magnet for many cities. Our western neighbors are especially famous for them. The most famous is the fair in Dresden.

List of Christmas markets. They start in November

The Instagramer who publishes on the @wershion account has collected a list of European Christmas markets in her posts. She added that this is the last call for reservations. Some towns open at the end of November.

Here are the dates of selected fairs in Europe:

  • Barcelona, ​​Spain November 28 – January 6

  • Budapest, Hungary November 17 – December 31

  • Dresden – November 27 – December 24.

  • Prague, Czech Republic November 30 – January 6

  • Tallinn, Estonia November 21 – December 27

Cheap accommodation in December

If you choose to travel with Flixbus to Dresden, you can now buy a ticket for the journey from Wrocław (the cheapest connection will be PLN 66, a total of PLN 132). And what about accommodation? Currently, in Dresden you can actually find accommodation at standard prices, approximately PLN 110-150 per night.

Let’s also check Budapest, to which you can often find cheap flights. Here you can find the real thing cheap accommodation in December, with good ratings, even for less than PLN 100 per person per night.

Can’t you spend too much on your trip? Look for similar Christmas villages in the city closest to your place of residence. In Poland, beautiful Christmas markets are organized mainly in large provincial cities. Last year, the American station CNN included the Krakow fair on the list of the most beautiful places of this type.
