Kulesza’s secret meeting with the head of Zondacrypto. There was PLN 10 million at stake
The Zondacrypto stock exchange could become a sponsor of the Polish Football Association. Information came to light regarding the meeting between President Cezary Kulesza and Przemysław Kral.
In the fall of 2025, the president of the Polish Football Association, Cezary Kulesza, met in Bergamo with Przemysław Kral, head of the Zondacrypto cryptocurrency exchange – Onet found out. The talks concerned sponsoring the Polish national team, but they did not end with the signing of a contract.

The meeting took place on September 30 at the Atalanta stadium, before the Champions League match against Club Brugge. The talks were also attended by the Secretary General of the Polish Football Association, Łukasz Wachowski, and Marcin Śmigielski from Publicon Sport – the company responsible for acquiring sponsors for the federation.
According to Onet’s source, Zondacrypto was ready to allocate PLN 10 million per year for cooperation. However, the Polish Football Association decided that it could not offer the expected brand exposure for this amount. For comparison, Orlen, the main sponsor of the national team, is to transfer from PLN 40 to 50 million to the union annually. The presentation was supposed to last about an hour and a half and Kral didn’t like it. Szymon Sikorski, president of Publicon Sport, claims that he found out about the meeting after the fact. Later, he was to hear from Kral that the offer presented was “not very professional.”
Who organized the talks? Conflicting versions
According to a source in the PZPN authorities, information about Zondacrypto’s interest was to be provided by Radosław Tadajewski, a businessman associated with Publicon Sport. Tadajewski firmly denies this. He assures that he warned against cooperation with Kral, he does not know him and did not know about the meeting in Bergamo.
PZPN indicated in a statement that Publicon Sport was responsible for acquiring sponsors at that time. The federation confirmed the date of the talks and Śmigielski’s presence. She emphasized that the assessment of potential cooperation was negative, therefore no further actions were taken. The union covered the delegation’s travel costs from its own funds. The PZPN contract with Publicon Sport expires and will not be extended.
Zondacrypto chose the Polish Olympic Committee. Kulesza did not sign the application
Shortly after the failure of negotiations with the Polish Football Association, Zondacrypto announced sponsorship of the Polish Olympic Committee. Currently, part of the sports community is trying to dismiss the president of the Polish Olympic Committee, Radosław Piesiewicz. The application was signed by 82 out of 106 eligible members. Cezary Kulesza is not among the signatories.
