Krzysztof Stanowski will lose money. The reason is surprising

The Zero channel officially released the mobile application for Android and iOS. At the beginning Krzysztof Stanowski announced that he would lose financially.
Krzysztof Stanowski started with the Zero channel exactly on February 1, 2024. Business turned out to be a hit for now. In just over a year, the number of subscribers exceeded 1.7 million. Views of the most popular materials can also be counted in millions. Zero channel revenues in 2024 amounted to PLN 26,751,019. PLN 20,352,019 from sponsors collected for this amount, while PLN 6,399,000 from advertising on YouTube.
And what is important, the new application does not contain advertising, which can have serious financial consequences for the creators.
What does Stanowski say?
As Stanowski explains, the application was created for direct contact with recipients and better management of every day created content. However, the decision to lack advertising has real financial losses.
– And what is the problem that we could not solve? As a result of starting this application, we will lose money. (…) YouTube ads are not displayed in this application. We fought this long, in a thousand ways, various experts were in the head, why advertising is not displayed there (…) If now all suddenly everyone was to see the zero channel just watching through the application, we would lose a huge part of our income. And for sure we will lose some part of our income (…) Therefore, I can promise you one thing: we will figure out how to get some money from you. I do not know when it will happen – in two months, three, six, but the most outstanding minds of the zero channel are wondering how to regain lost money (…) Maybe you will come up with such an idea, write in a comment what you think, what you think we could get to the point where the application does not generate losses only profits – said Stanowski.
Financial losses of the Zero channel. Users understand?
Lack of advertising revenues may mean the need to introduce a paid version of the application. Stanowski does not hide that work is underway on the monetization strategy. Users do not rule out payments: “I prefer to pay you than on YT Premium” – we read in the comments.
