Krzysztof Stanowski strongly talks about Robert Lewandowski. Did he write the truth?

Let us recall that the issue of Robert Lewandowski’s club future was a multi-month series that finally ended at the end of June this year. The captain of the Polish national team really wanted to stay in the ranks of FC Barcelona. The Polish ace moved to the capital of Catalonia in the summer of 2022. It turned out to be a bull’s eye, considering the previous years (2014-22) spent in the ranks of Bayern Munich.

Strong words from Krzysztof Stanowski. It was about the Lewandowski family!

The Pole did not hide the fact that in Barcelona – both the club itself – and in terms of life in Spain, he found himself perfectly. It was similar in the case of the footballer’s family, headed by Anna Lewandowska.

The wife of the captain of the Polish national team posted a quite eloquent entry on social media, sharing her impressions after the decision regarding Lewandowski’s move to the USA. It became clear that both she and the two daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Lewandowski would set off with her husband.

Krzysztof Stanowski spoke about Lewandowski’s move to the USA. Famous journalist, creator of, among others, Kanał Zero, clearly described what happened in the context of the Pole’s transfer to Chicago Fire.

– I thought that the Lewandowski family had agreed together that the USA would be a new, cool stage for everyone, the children would learn the language, get a taste of America, etc. But if it is such a problem for the family, I don’t understand this transfer at all. If I were him, I would prefer to play in Girona – wrote Stanowski on the X website.

Could the Lewandowskis really be unhappy in Chicago? One thing is certain, as we wrote in WPROST shortly after the official announcement of the Pole’s transfer. MLS and going to the United States was not Lewandowski’s first choice. Representatives of the Chicago club already at the end of 2025 showed interest in bringing the Polish star to their team. RL9 was not convinced at that time and one gets the impression that… not much has changed in this respect.

Unfortunately, from the perspective of the Lewandowski family, talks on extending the contract with the player in the ranks of the Spanish champions ended in failure. FC Barcelona failed to reach an agreement with the player who clearly declared that he would be ready to end his football career right here on earth.

Instead of sunny Catalonia, the Lewandowskis will now be moving to Chicago. And the United States, regardless of its advantages, is a completely different world from the reality on the Old Continent. This promises to be a really big challenge on the horizon for probably the most famous sports family in Poland.
