The Czech carrier Leo Express is satisfied with the results in Poland. He announced an increase in the number of seats on trains.

After RegioJet announced its withdrawal from the Polish market, the second Czech carrier, Leo Express, intensified its promotion on social media and announced its “loyalty to Poland”. Although for now its offer of train connections is more modest, places on trains are filling up.

“Due to the great interest, we will double the capacity on selected connections between the Czech Republic and Poland this weekend, April 24-27,” the company announced. “We will launch the most enhanced connections on Friday and Sunday to make the return journey even more comfortable. Tickets are already on sale,” says the Czech carrier.

Leo Express will strengthen connections between Poland and the Czech Republic and selected routes between Bohumín and Prague. These are the courses:

On Saturday and Monday, we will increase the number of available seats on selected routes on the Prague – Bohumín section in the same way,” says Emil Sedlařík, Leo Express spokesman.

This weekend, ticket prices from Prague to Warsaw start from PLN 188, and from Prague to Krakow from PLN 108.

Leo Express adds holiday connections

Leo Express began expansion on the Polish railway market, launching Warsaw-Kraków connections from March 1 this year.

“Poland is an important market for Leo Express, where we plan to expand further with the help of our strategic partner Renfe. Transport statistics confirm the great interest in our services. Only on the new Warsaw – Krakow – Prague route, we have transported 38,000 passengers since March 1, of which 20,000 chose the domestic connection between Warsaw and Krakow,” the carrier said.

From June 25, Leo Express plans to offer more connections. A total of four trains a day in each direction will run on the Warsaw-Kraków route and back. At the same time, the number of connections between Warsaw and Prague will increase to three daily in each direction.

The company also has long-term plans. He wants to launch the Przemyśl-Frankfurt train, which will connect three countries. The route is to lead from Przemyśl to Frankfurt Airport and connect the most important agglomerations in Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland, up to the border with Ukraine.
