Karol Nawrocki’s estate. The court revealed the president’s statement
The Supreme Court published the declaration of assets of President Karol Nawrocki. And the President of the Supreme Court, Małgorzata Manowska, received a letter from the Chancellery of the President with consent to make the document public.
The document is dated August 6, 2025, and was received by the Supreme Court on September 4, 2025. It lacked Karol Nawrocki’s consent to its disclosure. It concerns the financial status as of the day of being sworn in as president.
Pursuant to the law, the President of the Republic of Poland must submit the first declaration of assets within 30 days from the date of taking office, and subsequent declarations – every year by March 31, stating the status as of December 31 of the previous year.
Details of the assets declaration of President Karol Nawrocki
According to the statement, the President of the Republic of Poland owns two apartments:

a cooperative ownership apartment with a total area of 57 square meters with legal title as ownership (Karol Nawrocki’s mother lives there),

ownership apartment with an area of 58 square meters with legal title – co-ownership, 50% share. (the apartment belongs to the president and his family).
The president also declared savings of PLN 130,000. PLN, and a mortgage loan with a total repayment amount of PLN 199,981. The statement also shows that in 2024 the “Family 800+” achieved an income of PLN 11.2 thousand. zloty.
Asset declaration of the President of the Institute of National Remembrance, Karol Nawrocki, with the disputed studio apartment
The previous declaration of assets comes from the time when Karol Nawrocki headed the Institute of National Remembrance. It was made available during the election campaign after the controversy regarding the assets of the Nawrocki couple was revealed.
Karol Nawrocki declared then, among others: 48 thousand PLN savings and an apartment with an area of 57 square meters co-owned with his wife and a studio apartment purchased from Jerzy Ż.
On April 28, 2025, during the “Super Express” presidential debate, Karol Nawrocki said that he only had one apartment. However, Onet journalists revealed that he still has a 28.5-meter studio apartment in Gdańsk. According to Onet, Karol Nawrocki and his wife bought the disputed studio apartment for cash in 2017 from Jerzy Ż.
According to the spokeswoman of Nawrocki’s staff, Emilia Wierzbicka, the studio apartment had been included for years in the then presidential candidate’s asset declarations, which he submitted as the president of the Institute of National Remembrance: “Mr. Jerzy is Karol Nawrocki’s neighbor. Karol Nawrocki, as a social activist, has been helping Mr. Jerzy, who is a disabled and lonely person, for many years.”
80-year-old Jerzy Ż. since April 2024 he has been living in a social welfare home. His stay is paid for by the city of Gdańsk – almost PLN 100,000. PLN per year. During the presidential election campaign, Karol Nawrocki informed about donating the studio apartment to charity – the Christian Charitable Association in Gdynia.
