Karol Nawrocki did not hide his surprise. During the meeting with Polish Olympians, the president received a unique gift.
Karol Nawrocki met at the Presidential Palace with the Polish ski jumping team who had already returned to the country after the Winter Olympic Games in Italy.

The guests included: medalists Kacper Tomasiak and Paweł Wąsek. The competitors were accompanied by coach Maciej Maciusiak and Adam Małysz, head of the Polish Ski Association.
On behalf of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, the head of state was accompanied by deputy head of cabinet Jarosław Dębowski and minister Mateusz Kotecki.
Paweł Wąsek had a special gift for Karol Nawrocki. The ski jumper gave the president a plastron with the number 23, with which he competed during the individual competitions of the Winter Olympics 2026 on the ski jumping hill in Predazzo.

Kacper Tomasiak brought the fans the most joy during the winter games. The only 19-year-old jumper won three medals – silver on the normal hill and bronze on the large hill. Moreover, together with Paweł Wąsek, he won the title of Olympic vice-champion in the duo competition.
For his achievements, the jumper will receive special bonuses from both the Polish Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Sport and Tourism. Additionally, he will receive the keys to a new apartment located in the City of Polish Olympic Champions investment, just outside Warsaw. – Kacper showed bravery and determination, additionally awakening the spirit of sport in the hearts of Polish fans. We were impressed by this attitude and we happily decided to hand over the apartment to our outstanding ski jumper – emphasized Paweł Malinowski, head of PROFBUD.
WINTER 2026. Adam Małysz on Kacper Tomasiak’s success
Adam Małysz admitted in an interview with TVP Sport that he hoped that the successes of Polish jumpers would become an impulse for the entire discipline. – I hope that they will pull and that these jumps will attract them. That after these successes, young people will be eager – said the head of PZN.
Meanwhile, there is another hope for success in Polish ski jumping on the horizon. Kacper Tomasiak’s younger brother – Konrad – performed great during the Polish Championships. After a jump of 127.5 meters, he led the competition for a long time. Ultimately, he placed 8th.
