Kacper Tomasiak won another medal during the 2026 Winter Olympics! The 19-year-old’s sporting success comes with specific financial rewards.
Kacper Tomasiak caused a huge sensation during the Winter Olympics in Italy. The 19-year-old took third place and won the bronze medal on the large hill in Predazzo.

Saturday’s competition was almost identical to the previous competition on the normal hill. This time, after the first series, the Pole was also in fourth place (after a jump of 133 meters) and again Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal was just ahead of him. In the final series, the Norwegian once again failed to cope, which is why Kacper Tomasiak stood on the lowest step of the podium.
– I definitely feel happy, but also less tired than after a normal hill, there was more adrenaline. There was stress, which gave more strength on the threshold, but did not disturb the technique – said the 19-year-old after the competition in Predazzo. – Maybe I didn’t believe in a medal as much as in the normal race, but I think I did very well – he added.
Kacper Tomasiak won bronze. How much will he receive for the medal?
Winning in sports brings not only joy, but also financial benefits. Kacper Tomasiak will receive the bronze medal from the Polish Olympic Committee 450 thousand PLN, of which PLN 300 thousand PLN in cash and PLN 150,000 PLN in tokens. Additionally, PKOL will give the athlete a painting, a holiday voucher and jewelry.
The Ministry of Sport and Tourism also provides bonuses for Olympic medalists. The ministry will pay the 19-year-old a one-time prize of over 61 thousand zloty.
For the previous silver medal won during the normal hill competition, the jumper will receive from the Polish Olympic Committee 600 thousand PLN (PLN 400,000 in cash and PLN 200,000 in tokens). Additionally, the 19-year-old will receive more than 78 thousand zloty one-time reward.
Moreover, thanks to winning the Olympic medals, Kacper Tomasiak secured a 24-month scholarship, the maximum monthly amount of which will be slightly over 15 thousand zloty.
