Julia Szeremeta responds to Tomasz Adamek’s advice

Since the first media reports linking Szeremeta with “freak” galas, her staff has been of the opinion that this is not the place for her. The Olympic medalist’s coach has announced that his competitor wants to continue fighting in professional boxing. Despite this, Tomasz Adamek has recently suggested that his younger colleague accept the offer to fight in “freak fights”. He stated that she will earn a lot of money, so rejecting them “would be stupid”.

Called to the board, Szremeta did not need much time to respond to the former world boxing champion. The boxer confirmed her coach’s earlier opinion, informing that she does not see herself in such fights. She firmly rejected the possibility of fighting, adding that she wants to focus on a professional boxing career. At the same time, she revealed her great goal.

– I reject freak fights. I have other priorities and goals. I want to follow the sports path, to carry the boxing sport forward. A short career? I still have a lot of time for boxing ahead of me. I’m only 21, and we can box until we’re 40. In addition, I would like to become a professional world champion, so I still have time – said Szeremeta in an interview with Interia.
