Judgment day for migrants in Poland. New recipes come into force

On June 1, new migration policy regulations come into force. They are aimed at hindering foreigners of access, among others to the visa system.
On Sunday, June 1, new regulations come into force, which were adopted as part of the implementation of the migration strategy. The purpose of these regulations is primarily to hinder foreigners access to the Polish visa system and the labor market.
– We issued an absolute struggle of illegal migration, abuse, using legal leaks or state weakness by those who organized such illegal migration – emphasized Donald Tusk.
On June 1, new migrant regulations come into force
In accordance with the provisions adopted by the government, Everyone who wants to study in Poland will have to prove knowledge of the lecture language at at least B2. A new obligation will also be imposed on universities that will have to inform the consulate if the student does not study. What’s more, the university before adopting a candidate for studies will have to check his qualifications and the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) confirm that he passed the matura exam.
In addition, the Donald Tusk government also decided to introduce admission limit of foreigners to studyto eliminate fictitious students who treat universities as a way to celebrate the procedure for obtaining visas enabling work.
Changes in the labor market from June 1
New rules will also appear regarding the labor market. KPRM explains that From June 1, the staroste will be able to determine the list of professions and types of work in which work permits will not be issued to foreigners.
In addition, voivodship labor offices will also have a obligation – once every 6 months – to analyze the offered remuneration on local labor markets. Penalties for illegal entrusting work will also increase. – The new regulations should curb the abuse of the right to work in Poland by foreigners – the prime minister explained.
The new regulations also mean Limiting access to applying for foreigners a temporary residence and work. It is about owners of visas and residence documents issued by other Member State or Polish visas issued, e.g. for transit, participation in cultural or sporting events.
