Journalists found out the content of the Polish Olympic Committee’s contract with Zondacrypto. Disturbing records

At the end of last year, the Polish Olympic Committee announced the establishment of extensive cooperation with Zondacrypto. What did the contract include? Journalists got acquainted with the controversial provisions.

In October 2025, during a press conference in Monaco, it was announced that the bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange, headed by Przemysław Kral, had become the general sponsor of the Polish Olympic Committee and the Polish Olympic Team.

The great cooperation was supposed to last until 2028, but a few months ago the Zonda logo disappeared from the POC headquarters located in the Żoliborz district of Warsaw, which was a symbolic moment. The reason, of course, is the outbreak of a high-profile scandal – it turned out that one of the largest e-trading platforms for digital assets in Central and Eastern Europe is insolvent. The value of the damage is at least PLN 350 million. Creditors could receive money from a portfolio of 4,500 bitcoins worth $300 million, to which the exchange in theory has access, but remains frozen. Kral claims that the keys needed to withdraw them are held by the head of Zonda’s predecessor (BitBay) – Sylwester Suszek. The businessman has been considered a missing person since 2022, which is one of the most mysterious threads in the entire scandal (there are hypotheses about his alleged murder).

The agreement between the Polish Olympic Committee and Zonda was concluded by Radosław Piesiewicz, who was recently detained by officers of the Central Anticorruption Bureau. What did it contain? These are the findings of Wirtualna Polska journalists.

Controversial provisions of the contract concluded between the Polish Olympic Committee and Zondacrypto

The editors pointed out that the Olympic Committee concluded the agreement not with the stock exchange, but with the Czech company Expofer Servis House based in Ostrava, which is represented by Kral. Some management board members found out only after the fact that Piesiewicz would sign it. There were voices of dissatisfaction and doubts about the move made by the president of the Polish Olympic Committee.

The records included, among others: those about the remuneration that the Olympic athletes were to receive in TMPL Tokens (Team PL) or ZND (Zondacrypto).

The general sponsor received the full right to use the images of former (since 2012) and current representatives (including their faces, voices) without territorial restrictions and in all media. The agreement stipulated that if the athletes expressed opposition and took legal action, the POC would reimburse the sponsor for all costs of such proceedings.

Thanks to the agreement with the Olympic Committee, the bankrupt stock exchange acquired new customers

Interestingly, not only the bankrupt stock exchange could use images of Olympic athletes – they were also available to, among others, advertising agencies cooperating with Zonda. Athletes were to participate in interviews and other materials (including videos) produced by the platform. After the cooperation ended, they could remain published online. This means that images of Olympic athletes with the logo of the bankrupt stock exchange will remain on the Internet forever.

This is not the end. In addition, Zonda also wanted to have access to data about new followers of TeamPL’s Facebook profile.

The WP editorial team pointed out that thanks to the agreement, the exchange could officially acquire new customers through Polish Olympic Committee channels.

There is a statement from the Polish Olympic Committee

In connection with the text of WP On Tuesday (September 1), the Polish Olympic Committee issued a statement. “The Polish Olympic Committee did not transfer personal data of people following the Polish Olympic Committee’s social media accounts to third parties,” the authorities assured.

“The Polish Olympic Committee made available a group of people following the Polish Olympic Committee’s website (not personal data, because the Polish Olympic Committee does not even have such data) on the Facebook platform using the Custom Audiences function during the term of the agreement with zondacrypto. This means that the sponsor could reach the specified group with the message only through advertising activities. This function does not require the transfer of data of specific people in this group, and only Meta, which owns the Facebook platform, has access to such information,” it was emphasized.

The Polish Olympic Committee pointed out that “as the owner of his account on Facebook (or any other social media platform), he has no insight into the data of individual people who follow his social media accounts, and the use of the Custom Audiences function as part of advertising campaigns is a common practice in the marketing market.
