Jacek Kurski certainly cannot count his run in the European Parliament elections as a success. The former president of TVP received second place on the Masovian PiS list (district no. 2). His name did not attract voters and he was not elected as an MEP.
According to the National Electoral Commission data, Jacek Kurski was supported by 32,222 voters, which is 4.49%. votes cast for the Law and Justice list in this district. Better results were achieved not only by Adam Bielan, who started from number one, but also by Jacek Ozdoba, Daniel Milewski, Zofia Koc and Anna Kwiecień, who were further placed.

In a message sent to “Wprost”, Jacek Kurski thanked voters for voting for him and congratulated PiS on the final result, “giving hope for a quick political change in the country”. “I would like to thank the wonderful people who worked tirelessly for me in this campaign,” he wrote.
He added that the last weeks and hundreds of meetings with Poles were a fascinating adventure for him after a 10-year break from politics. “What I heard from you changed my way of looking at Polish realities and the problems that Polish families have to face. I will use it in my further work for Poland,” he added. He will also emphasize that he is staying in politics.
