The first ski resorts published price lists for the upcoming season. Prices are higher, but you can save by purchasing the pass in advance.

In just two months, the still green mountain slopes will turn into snow-white snowdrifts. The ski season that starts in December will be more expensive than last year. The price increase is not drastic, although it may be visible especially in the case of a family trip. How to protect yourself against it? /Just buy a pass at a promotional price in the fall. For a one-day pre-sale ski pass for a family of four, we will now pay even several dozen zlotys less.

The new ski season is just around the corner

The pre-sale of season tickets for the 2024/2025 season has started for the Tatry Ski group connecting the largest slopes in the south of the country. Polish residents and foreign tourists can now purchase ski passes for the slopes located in Podhale, Spiš, the Gorce Mountains and the Pieniny Mountains. “We offer skiers 113 diverse ski slopes with a total length of over 81 km,” it is stated on the organizer’s website. What are the preparations for the opening like? “Evacuation exercises from ski lifts in the event of failure have already been carried out, and cannons have appeared on the slopes, which will be launched when there is frost. The first ski slopes will open at the end of November, but most stations plan to launch ski lifts from the second week of December,” said Adam Marduła from Tatry Ski, quoted by tvn24.pl

Higher prices on the horizon

The new season also means an expected increase in prices. Season tickets will increase in price by an average of 5 percent during the season. Although it does not seem like a big change, the loss in the household budget may be noticeable, especially in the case of family trips. To protect yourself from price increases, it is worth purchasing tickets in advance – then their prices can be lower by up to 10 percent, which will save you at least several dozen zlotys per day for a group of four. Higher prices are not the only problem during the upcoming ski season. Some European sports centers have already announced that they will not open for the winter due to lack of snow.
