It will be even easier to settle e-PIT. News coming soon
From next year, submitting a PIT return will be even easier, announces the National Tax Administration. There will be no need to log in to the e-Tax Office on a laptop, because all necessary activities can be performed on a smartphone.
In December, taxpayers will be able to use the e-Tax Office mobile application. A few weeks later you will be able to use it to settle e-PIT.
The application will work similarly to the e-Tax Office service available on the tax.gov.pl website. After logging in to your account, you will be able to easily obtain certificates, submit declarations, grant powers of attorney, check your settlements, and pay tax. It is also possible to manage documents, update data and correspond with the office, i.e. sending and receiving documents in electronic form. The version for natural persons will be launched first, and in the future it will also be available to entrepreneurs.
When is e-PIT for 2024?
KAS presented on its website a schedule of “the most important implementations” for the coming quarters, i.e. the dates when settlement forms will appear and will open the possibility of creating various declarations. The tax return for last year (your e-PIT in the e-Tax Office, including in the mobile application) will be available from February 15, 2025. As a rule, people who receive a refund of overpaid tax settle their taxes without undue delay. As every year, settlement will be possible until the end of April.
These are not the only new things that the National Tax Administration intends to implement.
