Polish astronaut-doctor Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski-set off on June 25 in the morning to an international space station. When will he put his leg on board ISS? When will Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski arrive with the AX-4 crew to ISS?
A long journey before the participants of the AX-4 mission, which will last a dozen or so hours. At 11 o’clock Axiom Space will launch online broadcast for space enthusiasts so that they can observe the docking of the Crew Dragon capsule on ISS. A few hours later, a welcome ceremony will start, preceded by the opening of the station’s hatches. Four astronauts – including a Pole – will be greeted by Americans and Russians already present on the premises.
Dr. Uznański-Wiśniewski will remain on the ISS for 14 days-as Axiom Space informs. However, this time may be extended. The commander is the American – Dr. Peggy Whitson, Hindus pilot – Shubhanshu Shukla engineer. In addition, the crew consists of two specialists – our compatriot and Hungary – Eng. Kapu tibor.
“Thanks to the culturally diverse crew, we not only develop scientific knowledge, but also support international cooperation. Our previous missions have prepared the stage, and with AX-4 we rise even higher, introducing more nations to orbit (…) and expanding the range of humanity among the stars,” says the head of the crew, quoted on the website of the AX-4 mission.
