Ciechocinek is located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the Aleksandrów County, near Bydgoszcz. It is famous primarily for its numerous health resorts. There is practically no industry there. Patients and tourists mainly use the impressive graduation towers located near the local nature reserve.

Ciechocinek has the largest graduation towers in Europe

There are three graduation towers in Ciechocinek. The construction of two of them was completed in 1828, and the last one in 1859. They are all located close to each other, arranged in a horseshoe shape. They were designed by Jakub Graff – professor at the Mining Academy in Kielce.
