The place in question is a hit in Zakopane. The beach on Gubałówka is one of many attractions that will attract lovers of this part of the country. She gained fame, among others, thanks to the fact that it was hailed as the highest in Poland. It doesn’t end with beautiful views, because many events are organized there, and you don’t have to pay to participate.

The highest beach in Poland is waiting for you

The beach at an altitude of 123 m above sea level is just one of many attractions, but it is considered exceptionally spectacular. From its perspective you can admire the Tatra Mountains and the Babiogórskie range. Sun loungers are available and there is enough space to accommodate crowds. The easiest way to get there is by taking the Polish Cable Railway or walking route, e.g. the black trail.

Apart from the beach, there are special entertainment zones on both Gubałówka and Butorowy Wierch – from Tuesday to Saturday. This opportunity will appear for the first time in the second of the places mentioned. Famous viewpoints have changed beyond recognition and offer sports, cultural events, outdoor games and educational activities completely free of charge.

At Gubałówka, on the beach on Tuesdays, there will be animations under the slogan “Tatra Explorers”, inspired by nature, mountains and adventure themes. Children and entire families will be able to participate and look for clues to Tatra symbols and puzzles. There will be creative activities, competitions and arcade games. The inflatable zone will also be unique.

Thursdays will be dominated by the “Beach Championships”, i.e. sports and recreational events. The following will be available, among others: volleyball and volleyball courts. On Fridays, “Góralskie Śpasy” has been prepared, i.e. traditional regional games, during which we will discover, among others: secrets of making oscypek cheese. All this in a musical setting perfect for dancing.

Butorowy Wierch will attract lovers of bonfires and feasts. There will be a chance for such relaxation on Saturdays between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. There you can listen to stories about Tatra secrets, ancient customs, harsh life in a hut and bake sausages with a view of the mountains.
