The first Sunday of June is not a commercial Sunday. Check which stores will be open and where you will shop.

On the first Sunday of June, statutory trade restrictions apply. Shops and shopping malls will remain closed to customers. However, there is no reason to worry – on a non -commercial Sunday, June 1, we can easily buy medicines, fuel and first necessary products. We can also use a rich gastronomic offer or buy flowers.

Where will we shop June 1?

Some types of business are exempt from Sunday trade restrictions. The Act provides for 32 exceptions that allow the opening of specific facilities. This applies to, among others:

gas station,
gastronomy,
florists,
pharmacies and pharmacy points,
post offices, provided that revenues from postal activities constitute at least 40 percent. rotation

Quick shopping can also be done in networks such as Żabka and in smaller stores. It is worth remembering, however, that non -commercial opening hours on non -commercial Sundays are usually shorter than on weekdays.

When will the next commercial Sunday be?

The legislator provided for one commercial Sunday in June. It will fall on the last Sunday of the month, i.e. June 29. However, we will have to wait for the next until the end of the summer holidays. According to the provisions of the Act, it will be August 31.

Trade Sundays 2025 – eight additional days for shopping

In 2025, trade will be allowed on eight Sundays. This is the result of changes resulting from the amendment to the regulations. The Act of December 6, 2024 amending the Act on non -working days and some other acts introduces an additional commercial Sunday in December.
