Innovators Wprost 2026: The future of AI, “AI fashion” and new legal regulations

Debata Innowatory Wprost 2026

Panelists talked about the challenges in the field of AI and how to implement artificial intelligence in your company during the debate at the Innowatory Wprost Conference.

Experts emphasized that introducing AI into company structures has become fashionable, but not all entrepreneurs know how to use the possibilities of artificial intelligence, and therefore the investment does not return.

– Many organizations are in the “AI fashion” stage. Many organizations are trying to force AI into places where process automation alone is enough – said Grzegorz Soczewka, VP Sales for the Central and Eastern Europe region at OVHcloud.

– AI can help us optimize processes, but sometimes budgets are burned because companies do not always know where artificial intelligence could help them. First, let’s consider where AI will have the greatest application – said Przemysław Mikus, president of the board of directors of the Software Development Association Poland.

An important topic of the discussion was work on legal provisions that are to regulate the use of AI, organize and supervise the artificial intelligence market.

– Poland has taken an ambitious approach to regulating AI by creating a new body, the Artificial Intelligence Development and Security Commission, which will, on the one hand, supervise this market, but on the other hand, will have a large development component. In the context of creating regulatory sandboxes, i.e. a direct environment for testing artificial intelligence systems, where they will be tested under the supervision of the supervisory authority, without the risk of resulting penalties, and also, for example, in the context of an individual opinion, where the entrepreneur will have to ask the commission for an opinion on whether his system is compliant with the AI Act – said Kamil Giera, chief specialist in the Department of Research and Innovation at the Ministry of Digitization.
