Influencer found in a critical condition. “Damage to many organs”

Ashley Marie, known on the web as Ashley Surcombe, is an internet creator from Great Britain who has lived in South Korea for several years. The 29-year-old recently stopped contacting her family and friends. When the services were alerted, the police found her unconscious in their own home, with a conquered eye and serious dehydration.

– We just don’t know what happened. We try to find out, but it is difficult. We had to rely on contacts with Korea. (…) She was found unconscious on the floor. She had no broken bones, but she was seriously dehydrated and had damage to many organs. (…) It has a very low blood sugar level – said Sister of Influencer Kat Surcombe in an interview with “Mailonline”.

The 29-year-old sister added that a few days earlier the influencer told her loved ones that she had hit the head on the door, but it did not cause any problems. Later during telephone conversations, however, they began to notice that Ashley Surcombe was confused.

– We were supposed to talk to her at 20:00 on Sunday (Korean time), but she did not answer, and we did not receive any response to the messages. Then we called the police by my father’s friend who has contacts there. When we learned that he was in the hospital, it was simply terrible because we felt helpless. We were so far – she added.

The British is currently in the intensive care unit of the hospital in Seoul. Now her family must collect 50,000 pounds for medical care, because her insurance has recently expired. For this reason, they set up a collection on the Gofundme website. They said that the costs of staying on intensive therapy are 1.5 thousand. (PLN 7.4 thousand) pounds a day, plus 3,000 pounds of deposit (almost PLN 15,000). Later, they want to bring Ashley back to Great Britain, where they will be able to take care of her themselves. “We want to hug her and say that we love her,” said the moved Kat. She also revealed that their father had already left for Korea to personally look after his younger daughter and find out what happened exactly.
