Incomprehensible scenes at PGE Narodowy. The situation got out of control

The Wednesday match for the Polish Super Cup takes place in the shadow of a gigantic organizational confusion. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is far from a great football holiday.
Why such conclusions before the start of the match? This is the result of observing the last weeks and months if you look at the organization of the event. Originally, the match between Jagiellonia Białystok (Polish champion) with Wisła Kraków (winner of the Fortuna Polish Cup) was to take place on July 7, 2024. The host was to be “Jaga”, because of the name of the best team in the country.
However, we have April 2, 2025 and although the participants have not changed, instead of in Bialystok, the teams will play in Warsaw at PGE Narodowy. What’s more, without the presence of Jagiellonia supporters who clearly boycotted the meeting.
Polish Super Cup at PGE Narodowy. The effect of a gigantic confusion
We informed about “scuffles” about playing a match and reasons in a separate text. A lot of thunders fell on this occasion at Cezary Kulesza, the head of the Polish Football Association. The head of the football headquarters associated with Jagiellonia has firmly fallen to the supporters of Polish champions, ultimately moving the match against the Super Cup from Bialystok to Warsaw.
However, it is not moving from the city to the city that they are the reason for the boycott of Jagiellonia’s fans. Be otherwise, this is an important argument, but it is certainly not the only one.
– The main reason is to receive the Jagiellonian match in Bialystok. PZPN “threatened” Jagiellonia with multi -million penalties in this respect, if Jagiellonia did not let in the fans of Wisła Kraków. There were arguments that if Wisła do not come in, the match will not take place. We do not understand why our club would bear the consequences of not playing a match and all organizational costs related to it. In addition, the match was moved to the National Stadium. Secondly, we do not agree to participate in matches with Wisła Kraków supporters. The point is that Wisła fans did not join the so -called supporters of not using equipment. Supporters of all clubs in Poland have agreed with the exception of Wisła supporters. The consequence of this is that not only Jagiellonia, but also other clubs in Poland boycott the supporters of the White Star – explained in an interview with Robert Bońkowski from TVP Sport Adam Tołoczko from the Association of Fans Jagiellonia Białystok.
Confusion in the PGE National stands will therefore be considerable. Like two teams on the pitch, but only Wisła supporters will see a live match.
A clash for the Polish Super Cup Jagiellonia Białystok – Wisła Kraków, on Wednesday (i.e. April 2), from 21:00. The broadcast will be carried out by Polsat Sport 1 and TV4. In addition, you can use the Polsat Box Go platform online.
