PKP Intercity has started the holiday season for good. From June 15, a new timetable is in force, and other interesting news will take place within a few days. Here’s what passengers can count on.
At this moment, many travel lovers waited with impatience, especially those who travel to Polish cities by trains. The demand for tickets in previous years proves that we like this form of journeys very much – we choose, among others stays to the sea, mountains or Masuria.
Today it is known that we will reach PKP Intercity trains in most corners of Poland. From June 15, the warehouses will bring us to our destination almost seven days a week, at different times of the day and night.
Summer hits at PKP Intercity
There is so much new news in the new PKP schedule that it is impossible to mention everyone. We focused on the most intriguing ones. The impression on Poles will definitely make a connection to Kołobrzeg, which is one of the largest spas in our country. This city is considered an ideal entertainment and rest center in one.
There are 8 additional pairs of trains to Kołobrzeg. We will get there from Krakow every day with the TLK Bursztyn and EIP 3840 compositions (on the way back, figureing as EIP 8340), as well as running on Fridays and Saturdays from Krakow – IC Krakowianka. From Bielsko-Biała, we will use the TLK Pirate or EIC Frigata on weekends every day. We will get from Wrocław with the IC Swarożyc composition, and from Lublin with wagons in IC Ustronie.
It is also a hit that the lovers of the Tatra Mountains have at their disposal A new, seasonal combination of IC Sukiennice, which will take travelers to Zakopane this summer. We will go not only from Krakow, but also from Szczecin, Poznań and Łódź. In addition, the inhabitants of Krakow can travel to Masuria from April from April, and From Wednesday, June 18, the IC Hańcza train returns to the tracks to Giżycko.
