The government is preparing changes in compensation payments for expropriation at CPK. The new regulations are to speed up the compensation process.

“The government is preparing to change the rules for paying compensation to people who will be expropriated in connection with the construction of the Central Communication Port,” says RMF24.

The new regulations are aimed at accelerating the payment of compensation

CPK – a dozen or so plots owners will be expropriated

The CPK company also prepares replacement real estate in the vicinity of Baranów for people who have not decided to voluntarily sell their land. According to RMF FM findings, expropriation can cover at least a dozen or so plot owners.

“At least a dozen or so plot owners may be expropriated. These are people who have not wanted to sell these lands voluntarily so far,” says the portal.

The website reminds that until now the owners of almost half of the land intended for the construction of the airport have reported to the voluntary program to buy, which means that expropriation may apply to over a thousand hectares, mainly agricultural areas and several built -in plots with houses.

CPK – when will expropriation start?

According to RMF24, the expropriation of landowners on which the Central Communication Port is to be built will start in the autumn at the earliest. This is to take place after examining the appeals against the location decision of the CPK issued in January. The decision itself will become final after the end of procedures at the Ministry of Development and Technology. The start of the airport construction is planned for the beginning of next year, and the launch of CPK is planned for the second half of 2032. Then there will also be a high -speed railway, enabling access from Łódź to Warsaw within forty minutes.
