Iga Świątek’s match suddenly interrupted! Bad news straight from Germany
The quarter -final duel of the WTA 500 tournament in Bad Homburg between Iga Świątek and Russian Jekaterina Aleksandrowa, was interrupted.

In addition, lightning also appeared, which allows you to suspect that the break in the clash may take a while.
Anyway, the meeting was suspended until further notice.
Świątek treats the tournament in Germany very seriously in the context of the last straight before Wimbledon. In her career, the Polish woman reached the quarter -finals in 2023 the furthest in the London tournament.
It is worth recalling that the Wimbledon 2025 main ladder starts from June 30 (Monday). The final of the ladies on July 12 (Saturday), and the day after the gentlemen (Sunday).
