The bitter-sweet taste had two tournaments played in the Middle East for Iga Świątek. The Polish woman spoke by publishing an entry on social media.

First, the WTA 1000 semi -final in Dosze and defeat with Jelena Ostapenko, and then the quarter -finals of the next “Military” in Dubai – and losing to Mirrra Andrejew. Iga Świątek did not reach for her first title in 2025, but she had a few nice moments while struggling in tournaments in the Middle East.

It is known, however, that as a vice -leader of the WTA ranking, a Polish woman would like to win. This was especially evident in the times when the opponents found a way to board the Polish champion.

When emotions have subsided, without the official tone of press conferences or interviews, Świątek decided to speak, summarizing the last several days.

“Of course, these are not the results and achievements I expected this year and I needed a few hours to process it. But training and latter never end. Now a short time to regroup and draw conclusions. I am waiting for meetings in Tennis Paradise soon. Thank you Doha, thank you Dubai, “Świątek wrote, posting social media.

Importantly, the Polish woman appeared in the photo with a smile, and this is definitely a positive signal in the context of the next challenges before the vice -leader of the WTA ranking.

These meetings in Tennis Paradise are the opening of competition in the so -called “Sunshine double”. Already at the opening of March (from 5.03) you will be able to see a Polish woman during the Indian Wells tournament. The second part will be Miami Open.

Iga Świątek and all its championships

The Polish woman in her career so far has reached a total of 22. Championship titles at the courts almost all over the world.

Świątek triumphed in five struggles in a great shelter, four times on the courts of Roland Garros (2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024) and once at the US Open (2022). In addition, the prestigious triumph in WTA Finals (2023) should be added.

In addition, won in WTA 1000 rank tournaments, respectively in Rome (2021, 2022, 2024), Dosze (2022 and 2024), Indian Wells (2022 and 2024), Miami (2022), Beijing (2023) and Madrid (2024).

The list also includes the WTA 500 struggle, successively: Adelajda (2021), Stuttgart (2022 and 2023), San Diego (2022) and the aforementioned Dosze (2023). Plus Polish accent, WTA 250 in Warsaw (2023).

After the Olympic tournament in Paris (2024), the bronze medal of the Games should be added to this list. The first album in the history of Polish Olympicism pulled out of competition on tennis courts.
