The first – small – problems of the WTA ranking ranking appeared only in the fourth game (3: 1), but Iga Świątek quickly managed to increase the advantage again and won the next game with her pass (4: 1).

Sorana Cirstea took up the fight to extend her opportunities in this match and after the service ace she wrote on her account the second game (4: 2). POlka, however, left no illusions. She won the last game with a break, to zero and the whole second set 6: 2.

In the quarterfinals of the tournament in Seoul Iga Świątek will face Barbora Krejcikova or Emma Raducan.
