Iga Świątek in the game for the title US Open! Polish woman in a surprising connection
The Grand Slam Tennis Tournament of the US Open starts on Sunday, August 24 and will last until August 7. Iga Świątek, however, already plays, taking part in the competition of mixes.
From Monday (i.e. August 18), it began to happen in the context of the Grand Slam US Open. The qualifications and a tournament of mixtures, in a new, show style, certainly focused more and more attention on tennis, New York courts.

“I could play now in the semi -final and the finals. I feel very good. The title in Cincinnati gave me a lot of confidence, so I want to use it,” a Polish woman admitted with a smile, after two won matches in New York.
Who will the Polish-Norwegian duo play in the semi-final with? An opponent and opponent will be American Jessica Pegula and British Jack Draper. The beginning of the competition on Wednesday night at Thursday at 1:00 Polish time.
The final playing, at the largest tennis facility of the world – Arthur Ashe Stadium – will take place immediately after the second semi -final of the Miksta. Danielle Collins and Christian Harrison (both USA) with the Italian duo Sara Ernani and Andrea Vavassorim will face it.

The Polish woman in her career so far has reached a total of 24. Championship titles at the courts almost all over the world.
Świątek triumphed in six struggles in a great shelter, four times on the courts of Roland Garros (2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024), once at the US Open (2022) and Wimbledon (2025). In addition, the prestigious triumph in WTA Finals (2023) should be added.
In addition, won in WTA 1000 rank tournaments, respectively in Rome (2021, 2022, 2024), Dosze (2022 and 2024), Indian Wells (2022 and 2024), Miami (2022), Beijing (2023), Madrid (2024) and the latest in Cincinnati (2025).
