The 2025 season was successful for Iga Świątek. The Pole once again counted in the fight for the highest goals. Interestingly, the Polish tennis player turned out to be the best in the world.

Although the WTA ranking does not indicate this, because Aryna Sabalenka remains the leader, the Belarusian cannot boast of the result achieved by the Pole – interestingly – for the fourth year in a row. What exactly are we talking about?

Another record by Iga Świątek. The Pole turned out to be number 1

An interesting list was prepared by “OptaAce”, known for its passion for curiosities published via the X portal. It shows that Iga Świątek won as many as 63 victories in the 2025 season. And this is the best result of any tennis player in the world. The Pole achieved this feat for the fourth year in a row, doing so in the years 2022-25. Interestingly, apart from Świątek, only four players in history can boast such a series. Let’s add, legendary tennis players.

We are talking about Chris Evert (1974-77), Martina Navratilova (1977-86) and Steffi Graf (1987-90). This shows the scale of the result in the case of the Polish tennis player.

It is worth adding that the Pole appeared on the court for the last time in the season, representing Poland during the Billie Jean King Cup. The Polish women performed brilliantly at the tournament in Gorzów Wielkopolski, winning all six matches (four singles and two doubles). Świątek added two triumphs to her success, additionally arousing delight among fans eager to see the Pole perform live in the country.

In her career so far, the Pole has won a total of 25 championship titles on courts almost all over the world.

Świątek won six Grand Slam titles, four times at Roland Garros (2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024), once at the US Open (2022) and Wimbledon (2025). To this should be added the prestigious triumph in the WTA Finals (2023).

In addition, wins in WTA 1000 tournaments in: Rome (2021, 2022, 2024), Doha (2022 and 2024), Indian Wells (2022 and 2024), Miami (2022), Beijing (2023), Madrid (2024) and the most recent one in Cincinnati (2025).

The list also includes WTA 500 competitions: Adelaide (2021), Stuttgart (2022 and 2023), San Diego (2022), Doha (2023) and Seoul (2025). Plus a Polish accent, WTA 250 in Warsaw (2023).

After the Olympic tournament in Paris (2024), a bronze medal of the Games should be added to this list. The first disc in the history of Polish Olympics taken from competition on tennis courts. Although, as the tennis player herself mentioned, after winning Wimbledon, if she could, she would exchange one of her Grand Slam wins – for Olympic gold.
