Iga Świątek and Hubert Hurkacz will play together. We just got to know the details

Eisenhower Cup: Iga Świątek and Hubert Hurkacz will play together! When?

Where will the opportunity to see Świątek and Hurkacz together in action? At the courts in the American Indian Wells, just before the start of the BNP Paribas Open tournament. A thousand in both ATP and WTA editions, the charity competition of mixtures will be preceded. It will be a tournament called Eisenhower Cup. Eight couples appeared on the start list.

The competition will be played in the TIE BREAK TENS system. So tie-break up to ten points won. The ladder has not been drawn yet, but it will be a fight in the cup system. Therefore, you can say goodbye to the games relatively quickly.

Interestingly, Świątek and Hurkacz, they already played in the Eisenhower Cup final. In 2023, however, they finally lost to the Belarusian-American duo, Aryna Sabalena and Taylor Fritz 8:10. It was worse a year ago, the Polish Mikst lost quickly, because in the first match losing as much as 2:10 to Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas. Spanish and Greek also form a pair outside the court, and last year they finally reached the finals. There they lost to the American duo, Emma Navarro and Ben Shelton.

As you can see on social media, interest, among others Hurkacz, is very large in the USA. The Polish mixture will certainly be able to count on the support of compatriots and compatriots, which are actually on tennis stands around the world.

When will the Eisenhower Cup take place? The day before the start of the struggle at BNP Paribas Open. Looking at Polish watches, it will be Wednesday, i.e. on March 5, from 4:00 in the morning.
