Ice circle on the Polish river. Residents noticed an unusual phenomenon

Winter phenomena can be beautiful, as the inhabitants of Biała Podlaska found out. It was they who immortalized the ice circle on the recordings and photos, which behaved in an unusual way.
This time it is not a white down falling on trees or snow-ice sculptures produced by nature that delighted Poles. The ice circle, which moved on the river like a plate in a vinyl player, made an impression. Everything looked so hypnotizing that the recording that shows the phenomenon was appreciated in the media. Numerous photos were published by TVN Meteo, but one of their authors also shared his recording on Facebook.
Ice circle on the Polish river
The ice circle can be found in Biała Podlaska, i.e. a city located in the eastern part of the country in the Lublin province. Although this place is mainly famous for its magnificent castle complex from the 17th -18th centuries and picturesque views, this time it is loud about it because of the winter phenomenon.
The turning ice plate formed on the Krzna River, which is the left tributary of the 120 km Bug. He starts in the central part of the South -Prodan Lowland. When the temperatures in Poland dropped drastically below zero, the freezing water reservoirs were immediately noticeable. However, not all of them have their “ice circle”.
Ice circles are a rare phenomenon
Although for some a rotating ice plate may be a phenomenon that they noticed for the first time in their lives, this does not mean that such circles have not appeared in various places around the world before. As they are rare, that’s why they are still impressive for many of us. Interestingly, they can take a variety of sizes, and how they will look largely depends on the very nature.
Ice structures in the style of those that appeared in Biała Podlaska, most often we will notice on the cold oceans – then it is the easiest way. When it comes to rivers or lakes, they only form if the temperature is really low. It is enough for the frozen foam on the surface of the water is trapped in a water whim. According to TVN Meteo, that then the pieces of frozen foam and ice hit them about themselves, creating disks.
