Problems of entrepreneurs

During this year’s European Congress of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, the following topics were discussed: about business needs and problems encountered by entrepreneurs in this sector.

– I am a lawyer, so when I listen to entrepreneurs, what is closest to me is law. The most important thing for entrepreneurs at the moment is to provide small, medium-sized and micro-entrepreneurs with relief from legal regulations. This means that the law should be transparent, simple, predictable and stable, said Mariusz Filipek.

Dialogue with business

According to the Deputy Ombudsman for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, the most important thing in creating good and entrepreneur-friendly law is the dialogue between the government and representatives of the business community. Changes should be consulted and accepted by entrepreneurs.

– This means that each subject of regulation should be consulted widely, with organizations of entrepreneurs and employers, so that these changes are directional. There must be hard law, the regulation must be rigid, but it must also be accepted by the person who will implement it, said Mariusz Filipek.

– This dialogue is beginning. For a number of recent years, I feel that dialogue has been limited. Today, I think we are talking to entrepreneurs, he added.
