The announcements of a possible peace process in Ukraine caused a clear reduction in oil prices. It was felt by refueling at gas stations.

Experts e-petrol.pl dr Jakub Bogucki and Grzegorz Maziak indicate that the announcements of a possible peace process in Ukraine have caused a clear reduction in oil prices. At the beginning of the week, $ 77 was paid for the Brent oil barrel on the London Stock Exchange, while on Friday morning oil cost $ 75. The reduction was also influenced by data showing the increase in raw material reserves in the USA. The decrease in raw material prices was felt by refueling at gas stations.

Admittedly, information about the actions of President Trump is currently a preliminary and uncertain character, it seems completely possible that in the event of suspension of hostilities, oil and fuel prices will be further reduced – write Bogucki and Maziak.

Analysts compare current wholesale prices of ready fuels with results from a week ago, indicating that there was a small discount for gasoline and fuel oil. 98-octane gasoline is currently valued at 5182 PLN/cubic meter, i.e. 35 PLN cheaper than last weekend. For the most popular E10, the reduction was PLN 13, and the average price is PLN 4,764/cubic meters. The price of heating oil has dropped by PLN 4, which currently costs PLN 3620/cubic. Over the past week, only diesel has become more expensive. Its average price is PLN 4,937/cubic, which means an increase of PLN 14.
