How much does air conditioning cost? The residents make a key mistake

The portal points out that the final price is the result of at least three elements: device, assembly and installation materials. An important role that may influence the cost estimate also includes, among others: the length of the freon route, the thickness of the walls, but also the floor of the building.

The most popular types of air conditioners are wall split (suitable for cooling one room) and multi-split – a good solution for people planning to air-condition the entire apartment or house.

How much does air conditioning installation cost?

According to the portal, a 3.5 kW split system (enough for a room or living room up to approx. 35 m²) with installation costs from PLN 4,500 to PLN 7,000 gross, depending on the brand and conditions. A more powerful 5 kW unit, suitable for a large living room, costs from PLN 5,000 to even PLN 9,000. The labor itself without the device in a standard scenario (route up to 3 meters, one drilling, easy access) ranges from PLN 1,100 to 2,000 gross. More complicated installation – long route, cutting furrows, work at heights can amount to up to PLN 4,000 just for the service. Multi-split in a 2+1 configuration (two rooms) costs from PLN 2,400 to PLN 3,200 for installation, and for three indoor units, PLN 3,100-4,300, excluding devices.

The website points out that in Warsaw the cost of a 2.5 kW split air conditioner with installation starts from PLN 3,500 to PLN 4,000, and in the case of a more powerful 5 kW unit – from PLN 3,800. A multi-split system for two rooms costs a minimum of PLN 5,500, three rooms – from PLN 8,500, and four – from PLN 12,000. PLN up.

A common mistake made by residents is that they decide to install air conditioning in the summer season, which involves a higher price. It is estimated that in the period May-August the prices of assembly services increase by 10-20%. compared to the off-season. Installation deadlines are also extended. Outside the season, assembly takes place almost immediately, and prices are up to 30 percent lower. lower. The most optimal period is March-April or September-October.
