– The average monthly gross salary in the enterprise sector in February 2025 amounted to PLN 8613.14, i.e. nominally by 7.9% compared to February last year – we read in a message presented on Thursday by the Central Statistical Office (GUS).
The average monthly gross remuneration in the enterprise sector includes basic salary and additional remuneration components (bonuses, prizes, remuneration for overtime work and retirement severance pay).
Remuneration up
In February, the average monthly gross salary in the enterprise sector increased nominally compared to January by 1.5 percent. The Central Statistical Office indicates that the increase in remuneration was influenced by a larger scale of payments such as: pay leveling, payments of bonuses, including annual bonuses, jubilee awards, payments from overtime, as well as retirement severance pay.
The office reminds in a statement that at the beginning of this year the minimum wage increased to PLN 4,666 gross, i.e. by 8.5 percent. Relative to the last growth in July last year, when it was PLN 4,300 gross. GUS emphasizes that this also had an impact on changes in the average gross monthly salary in the enterprise sector.
Employment has dropped
