How much can you receive for serving in WOT? With two days of training, a private can receive PLN 1,014 per month. The beginner also receives a one-time benefit.
Soldiers of the Territorial Defense Forces usually undergo two-day rotational training a month. In 2026, the daily rate of enlisted pay is PLN 182, so two days of service means PLN 364. In addition, there may be a monthly allowance of PLN 650 for combat readiness if the soldier meets the conditions for its payment. This gives a total of PLN 1,014. The daily rate increases with grade. For a corporal it is PLN 208 and for a second lieutenant – PLN 250. With two days of service and a standby allowance, this means PLN 1,066 and PLN 1,150 per month, respectively. You are entitled to additional remuneration for subsequent days of training or performing tasks.
The first 16 days at WOT. Where does the amount of approximately PLN 7,300 come from?
A person who has not previously performed active military service begins with 16 days of basic training. At the rate of a private, the salary for this time is PLN 2,912. After completing basic or compensatory training, a soldier may receive a one-time initial benefit – in 2026, approximately PLN 4,400.
The sum of the salary for 16 days and the initial benefit is approximately PLN 7,300. If in a given month the soldier also meets the conditions for paying the readiness allowance, the amount may increase by PLN 650. The initial benefit is payable only once during territorial military service.
How much can a WOT soldier receive in a year?
In the example plan, which includes 11 two-day training courses and one 14-day integrated training course, there are 36 days of service. This is PLN 6,552 of the rank-and-file salary. The standby allowance paid for all 12 months would amount to PLN 7,800. This gives a total of PLN 14,352.
This is an example assuming that a soldier retains the right to an allowance each month. The calculation does not include initial benefits, additional days of service or any awards or other allowances.
Can service and work be reconciled?
Rotational training is planned in advance. In the event of a significant obstacle, a soldier may apply to change the date, but requires the commander’s consent. You can apply for appointment to WOT through the Military Recruitment Center appropriate for your place of residence.
