Hours “vacation? Poles are surprisingly about the new proposal
Two -thirds of Poles want to introduce “for hours” – according to the SW Research survey for “Wprost”. The petition in this matter has recently received the labor department.
As we recently wrote, a petition for the introduction of leave in the hourly dimension came to the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy. The author of the petition indicates numerous benefits from the “for hours”, emphasizing that this option would solve many everyday problems of working Poles. Employees are often forced to take a vacation due to personal matters, such as a visit to a doctor, a gas -player visit, or settling a matter at the office. Many people are not able to work off the hours or two after which they need to deal with these matters. The only solution is therefore to take the whole day of vacation, while they would be enough for them a few hours.
The initiator of the petition proposes to introduce a leave in the hourly dimension – instead of 26 days, it would be 208 hours to choose.
Polish law currently does not provide for the possibility of breaking leave for hours. The only situation that allows such a possibility is when part of the leave remained to use is lower than the full daily amount of employee working time on the day on which the holiday is to be granted.

The concept of introducing holidays “for hours” like Poles. This is shown by the results of the SW Research survey for “Wprost”.
