Strikes at airports in Spain

Tourists who plan to travel to Barcelona, Alicante, Malagi and Palms at the beginning of the holidays should be up to date with the status of their flights. As the USO Unión Sindical Obrera announces, from June 25 to 27, at least four Spanish airports may explode strikes. 657 members of the EasyJet low -budget on -board staff will take part in the registered protest. “The trade union indicates that the differences in wages between crew members in Spanish bases and those in other European countries range from 30 to 200 percent,” we read in Majorca Daily Bulletin.

An agreement is possible

Although for the time being due to the prepared strikes has not been canceled, the situation may change quickly. Behind the scenes, a mediation session is prepared between the trade union and the airline, which can lead to the cancellation of protests. If the action eventually happens, tourists will have to prepare for serious difficulties.

The Easyjet employees ‘strike is not the only specter of tourists’ problems in Spain in the holiday season. A few days ago, the streets of Spanish cities were probably not mastered by anti -touristic protests this summer. At the beginning of the holidays, there is also the risk of re -strikes of airline controllers, which can seriously thwart travel plans for millions of passengers throughout Europe.
