Home appliance giant builds factory in Poland, hundreds of jobs to be created

Construction of a new plant in Łódź for the EGO Group has begun, which will increase production and create hundreds of jobs. This is very good news for the local economy.
Panattoni, one of the leaders in industrial real estate, has embarked on a new construction project. The company has launched a Built To Own (BTO) facility for the EGO Group, a leading supplier of components for home appliances. The project, located in Łódź, is to be completed by the end of 2025.
New production plant in Łódź
The new Panattoni investment includes a 15,000 sqm production plant, which will be located at Mahoniowa Street. It is strategically located just 8 km from the centre of Łódź and 4 km from the A1 motorway. The proximity of the customer base and city infrastructure ensures easy access for both employees and customers.
The EGO Group has been operating in Poland since 2005 and already has one of the largest production centers for household appliance components in the country. The new facility will allow for an increase in the production of components for induction hobs, which will further strengthen the company’s position on the market.
With the opening of the new plant, it is expected to create several hundred jobs, including not only production positions, but also administrative and management positions. Recruitment is to begin in the middle of next year.
Advantages of location
Katarzyna Kujawiak, Development Director at Panattoni, emphasizes the strategic location of the investment. “We offered EGO a property in a perfect location – close to its current headquarters and key business partners, which allows for convenient access for employees,” she says.
The construction of the BTO plant for EGO in Łódź is another step in Panattoni’s long-term strategy, aimed at providing modern production spaces for key companies on the market. As Kujawiak points out, investments in Łódź are a priority for Panattoni, thus contributing to the dynamic economic development of the region.
“The facility will be closely adapted to EGO’s production processes, and our cooperation aims to enable the company’s effective development in Łódź.”
