An increase in the minimum wage in 2025 brought higher salary supplements. Check out new rates for night work, check -in and benefits for employees.

From January 1, 2025, the minimum wage has increased, which is currently PLN 4,666 grosswhich translates into 3510.92 PLN net. Along with this increase, the amounts of many supplements and benefits for employees were also raised, in this supplement for work at night.

Larger additions for work at night and check -in

Employees performing their duties at night are entitled to an allowance in the amount 20% of the hourly rate resulting from the minimum wage. In 2025, this rate can even be PLN 6.48 gross per hour in months with a higher number of working hours.

Here are examples of the add -on rates per hour of work at night:

  • January: PLN 5.55

  • May: PLN 5.83

  • November: PLN 6.48

  • December: PLN 5.83

Other allowances and benefits in 2025:

  • Check-in for group or individual dismissal for reasons beyond the control of the employee – maximum PLN 69,990.
  • Minimum compensation for mobbing or discriminationPLN 4,666.
  • Training benefit for dismissed employees – maximum PLN 9,332.
  • Remuneration for the time of downtime not related by the employee – minimum PLN 4,666 gross.
  • The basis of the benefits of the benefits (maternity, sickness, caring) It cannot be lower than the minimum wage reduced by 13.71%.

Unregistered activities – a higher revenue threshold

As the minimum wage increases, the revenue limit for unregistered activities has also changed. In 2025 it is PLN 3499.50 per month (previously it was PLN 3225).

Addition for night work – what is worth knowing?

According to the regulations, night work takes place in hours from 21:00 to 7:00 And it should cover a maximum of 8 hours. The amount of the allowance depends on the number of hours worked in a given month and the minimum wage rate.

The employer has the right to raise these rates above the minimum, which means that many employees may receive even higher allowances than those specified in the regulations.

Changes in salaries for 2025 mean real financial benefits for employees, both in the form of higher allowances for night work, as well as more favorable briefings or benefits. Thanks to this, the increase in the minimum wage brings additional support for the employees.
