He’s boiling before the Poles’ match in Spain. Shocking pictures have hit the Internet

Kibice Lecha Poznań

The UEFA Conference League returns to action on Thursday evening. Lech Poznań, the Polish champion, will play away against Rayo Vallecano. There is a heated atmosphere around the match.

Reason? There are several of them, and what is most surprising, at least theoretically, are typically sports-related issues. Lech Poznań will certainly face a difficult task, not having been in very good shape in recent weeks and having to play against a team from the Spanish league.

Huge controversy surrounding the Rayo Vallecano – Lech Poznań match!

Looking at the LaLiga table, Rayo is currently in 10th place, four points behind the European cups – currently this position, number 6 to be precise, is occupied by Catalan Espanyol. Therefore, Lech’s rival is not a tycoon in its own backyard, but it is hard not to get the impression that this will be one of the most difficult – if not the most difficult – sports challenge in the league phase of the UEFA Conference League for Kolejorz.

Sporting events are one thing. The arrival of the Polish champions’ fans to Spain made a lot of noise. Rayo Vallecano is based in Madrid. Up to a thousand Kolejorz fans were supposed to appear in the capital of Spain. Already in the morning, we reported in WPROST about clashes between Poznań hooligans and locals. Law enforcement services also got into the game. Up to 400 hooligans could have taken part in the clashes.

Unfortunately, this is not the end of the “attractions” related to the Lech match in Madrid. A video has appeared on social media showing the conditions in which Kolejorz must operate at the Rayo stadium. It must be admitted that this version differs significantly from modern standards.

The Spanish sports media quickly picked up on what appeared in the club media of the Polish champions. Opinions are divided. On the one hand, there is strong criticism of Rayo and how bad the facility actually looks and why UEFA allows such a stadium to be admitted to European cups.

On the other hand, there is criticism of Lech for suddenly having a problem with the conditions when the much larger clubs hosting the Rayo facility did not publish this type of recordings for public review.

That’s not all. The Spanish show how people dressed in blue and white devastate, among others, local shops.

There was also information about the invasion of the stadium by the famous “Kawu”, a man who regularly appears on Lech’s away games and “decorates” opponents’ facilities with the characteristic Koziołek in the colors of Kolejorz.

The Spanish perceive such behavior as a typical provocation. It is therefore expected that the closer to the match, the hotter it will be in the stadium in Madrid, but also in its surroundings.

The Rayo Vallecano – Lech Poznań match will start at 9:00 p.m. The broadcast will be carried out by Polsat Sport 1 and Polsat Sport Premium 1. Additionally, it will be possible to watch all European cup matches (Conference League and UEFA Europa League) via the Polsat Box Go platform.
