It was created out of love for innocent living beings and is one of the exceptional zoological gardens in Poland and even in the world. Do you want to diversify your rest in Masuria? Take a look there.
A charming park in Masuria
Kadzidłowo is a private park with an area of about 100 ha located in the heart of Masuria, and more specifically the local squeaks Piska in the Masurian Landscape Park. It was created many years ago thanks to dr. Eng. Andrzej Krzywiński, a former researcher at the Polish Academy of Sciences. His actions were guided by an important goal – protecting wild species of animals at risk of extinction. They live on the spot wild animals, today regularly visited by tourists, especially families with children and lovers of nature.
Walking in Kadzidłów you can see species that normally run away from people and you can almost never see them during ordinary forest walks. There you can not only observe them, but also to learn them simply and everyday behavior. Deer, deer, wild boars, elks, lynxes, wolves are only selected inhabitants of this region.
The rules of sightseeing are simple. The place is open all year round, and walks are possible with a guide in the form of an educational trip. This lasts about 1.5 hours. And it runs quite calmly. Subsequently, you enter various farms, feed animals, and also establishes closer contacts with them. All this is safe and under the guidance of an experienced guardian.
The area is equally interesting
There is a natural museum at the park. In addition, there is an active Old Believers cemetery in Kadzidłów, which is one of the few of this type of necropolis in the country. The area itself is very green and calm. Ruciane-Nida is also a land where the well-known Lake Śniardwy, Lake Nidzkie and Bełdany reign. And the so -called Queen of Masurian rivers, or Krutynia.
If these are not lakes and beaches, but places with animals like incense pay your attention the most, it is worth remembering that there are more natural parks in Masuria. Interesting will be, among others Eulalia farm, mini-zoo in Żywki, a bison in a wolf or a parrot in Wilkasy. Zoo Safari in a round near Giżycko is also a hit.
