On Tuesday (i.e. March 25), the Polish Volleyball Federation officially published a list of a wide composition of the Polish volleyball team for the League of Nations 2025.

Nikola Grbić made interesting movements related to the formation of a wide staff who will be taken into account in the Polish national team of volleyball players. Paweł Zatorski, Mateusz Bieńek, Łukasz Kaczmarek and Marcin Janusz will run out of representative colors. In each case, we are talking about Olympic runners -up from last year’s Paris Games.

There are also very solid in the PlusLiga edition – Bartosz Kwol and Karol Butryn – an important duo in the ranks of the runners -up of Poland, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie.

On the side of those who appeared in the band, you can mention several important names: attacking Aleksiej Nazewicz and Kewin Sasak, return of the host Rafał Szymura, playing Łukasz Kozub and Kajetan Kubicki, Middle Jakub Nowak, Mateusz Nowak and Jordan Zaleszczyk or Libero Mateusz Czunkiewicz and Maksymilian Granieczny.

It is also worth adding that Captain Bartosz Kurek is present on the list.

How did the decisions commented on the coach himself?

– There are some private situations, there are health issues. This is the case with Bienia, he is the only player who in the last three years has not finished the season with the staff twice for health reasons. Of course, he plays all the time, he also plays in the Champions League, he will play until the very end of the season, so I decided to give him a free summer, especially since he must watch out for my health. The situation is similar with Janusz. These last three seasons were very hard for him and it affected his health. This is okay, take a break from time to time and regenerate. These last three seasons, especially this previous year because of everything that happened in the club, and then immediately the most difficult representative season, so I think that behind him a really long and difficult year and sometimes better if you are not 100% ready in your head to continue the amount of work we have in the team – because we are still traveling, we are away from the family – take a break. The same applies to animals and Greg. Greg has just become a father for the second time. These are situations that I wanted to take into account and therefore organize the season in this way – describes his election coach of Olympic runners -up and European champions.

It is worth adding that in the 2025 season the Polish volleyball team will compete, among others In the world championships, where Poles will defend the title of runner -up. The tournament hosts the Philippines, they will take place on September 12-28.

It is not excluded that in the case of the above -mentioned several corrections.
